joining the dots

There is a Japanese dish called 'okonomiyaki'. Tonight, I went to a teppanyaki place with my friends. This is the one of the place where I 150% come when I am in Japan. It's got gret food, drink, atomosphere and interesting people. Today the owner Mr. Endo told me how to cook Hiroshima-fu okonomiyaki. I forgot to mention that there are two types of okonomiyaki. One is from Osaka and another one is from Hiroshima. Osaka one is easier to make as you just have to mix every thing and cook, while Hiroshima one is stuructured by layers of different ingrediences and more delicate. Anyway, he was showing me how to cook it. When I go back to London, me and my friends are planning to have new years gathering and me and another friend of mine also from Hiroshima have decided to cook Hiroshima-fu okonomiyaki. I will then report it on this blog. If you would like to try it, you should just come to HIroshima.


今日は同じマンションに住む友達と日本に帰ってくる度に１５０パーセントの確率で行く鉄板焼き屋に行ってきました。寒い中チャリをこぎ（っといっても３分ぐらい）到着です。他の友達とも現地で合流、後から後から友達がやって来て全盛期は立ち飲み店になってました。それがまたここのいい所で、こないだ１人で行った時もそこで以前に会った事のある人や、友人の友人とかに会えたりします。童という名前で、いい昭和の時代をテーマにした感じのお店です。そこは飯がうまい、飲み物がうまい、雰囲気がいい（知らない人同士でもすぐに話が弾むようなそんなアットホームな雰囲気）、面白い人が集う、といい事ざんまいです。後、今日はロンドンに戻ったときにある新年会で僕ともう１人の広島人で広島風お好み焼きを振る舞うという事になっているので色々とコツを聞いてきました。またその結果はこのブログで。広島よいとこ何度もおいで。
