joining the dots

When I went to Tokyo this Summer, I went to record shopping as usual. There are few records shop that I always go to. DMR with big selection of records, Jazzy Sport with wicked jazzy flavor stuff, and at the wall inside the store, I found my friend's art work and reminded me the last time I came here was with him in April. It's amazing how people work together through internet nowadays. I do remember when internet was not very commercial as now. The information was very limited, and the world was bigger than now. My favourite one which is called Guiness Records, they have mainly underground hiphop and also some jazz crossover too.

いつも東京行くたびに行くレコードショップがいくつかあります。大きい店舗でレコード数のあるDMR, Jazzy Sportはセンスのいいジャズ絡みのもの、この夏、ここに行ったとき店内の壁に友達の作品が貼ってあって、あーこないだ来たときはこいつと一緒に来たなー、とちょっと思い出してしまいました。しかし最近はインターネットを介して距離など気にせずに仕事をしている人がたくさんいます。僕もインターネットがなかった時の事を覚えてますが、情報も今より限られていて世界ももっと広かったと思います。さて話は戻って、僕の１番のお気に入りはGuiness Recordsです。アンダーグラウンドヒップホップを中心にジャズクロスオーバーなどもあります。ちなみに下の写真はそこにある試聴用の物です。
